Rope Chef First Dish: How to Finish Steamed Rice
Complete Rope Chef’s opening Steamed Rice dish, learn how the rope-cutting action works, and read the result before attempting later recipes.
For the opening Steamed Rice dish, inspect the hanging ingredient and the pot below, then swipe across the supporting rope. Let the ingredient fall into the pot and wait for the completion panel.
Rope Chef combines a simple cutting gesture with a cooking recipe. The first dish is a useful place to learn the gesture before later layouts ask you to consider ingredient order, swing and obstacles.
We completed the opening Steamed Rice dish on Bopbun. The recorded result was two stars in 4.1 seconds, with a displayed par of 4 seconds. This walkthrough covers completion of that opening dish; it does not promise a three-star route through every recipe.
Get from the game page to the kitchen
The game page and the title-screen button are two separate steps. An advertisement or a short loading pause between them does not necessarily mean the level has failed to start.
- Choose Play Rope Chef on the Bopbun game page to load the game.
- When the Rope Chef title screen is ready, choose its Play button.
- If an advertisement is presented, let it finish or use the game’s available skip control when it becomes active.
- Read the recipe card at the top of the game before making your first cut.
Cut the first rope
In the opening layout we checked, one ingredient hangs above the pot. Move your pointer or finger across the rope, rather than just tapping the ingredient. A short sideways swipe through the rope is enough to demonstrate the cutting action.
After cutting, release the input and watch the fall. Avoid making extra gestures while the ingredient is already dropping. The pot is the target; the completion panel confirms that the dish has been accepted.
Read the result before moving on
The completion panel shows the dish name, time and stars, with options such as Next dish and Replay for stars. In our check it said Steamed Rice done! and awarded two stars. That verifies completion, not the best possible rating.
If you want to improve the same dish, use its replay option and compare what changed. A quicker cut may reduce hesitation, but the displayed par alone does not reveal every rule used to award stars. Do not assume that beating one time target guarantees the highest rating.
Carry these habits into later dishes
Those are planning habits, not a fixed sequence for later levels. Later dishes can use different arrangements, so a gesture that works in the opening layout should not be repeated blindly.
- Read the recipe order before cutting when more than one ingredient is present.
- Look at the entire path to the pot, including the direction an ingredient may swing.
- Make one deliberate cut, then watch the result before adding another action.
- If the layout includes bubbles or other controls, check the game’s prompt before using them.
If the swipe does not register
Make sure the pointer or touch is inside the game frame and that the title menu or an advertisement is not covering the level. Try a short clear line across the rope. On a narrow phone, rotating the device or using the page’s expanded view can make the rope easier to target.
If the game itself has not loaded, use Stop game on the Bopbun page, then choose Play again. Restarting the frame can reset an unfinished attempt, so use it for loading problems rather than as an in-level undo.
